Jewellery Size Guide
Find your best fit for Nia Vivé rings, bracelets, anklets and necklaces. Jewellery should feel comfortable, secure and easy to wear, with enough movement for everyday life.
Before you measure
- Use a flexible measuring tape, or a strip of paper or non-stretching thread with a ruler.
- Measure where the jewellery will naturally sit: finger, wrist, ankle or neckline.
- Keep the tape close to the skin, but not tight. You should be able to move comfortably.
- Measure at the end of the day if you can, as fingers, wrists and ankles can change slightly with temperature and movement.
- Many Nia Vivé rings and anklets are adjustable. Please check the individual product page for exact measurements before ordering.
Rings
A ring should slide over the knuckle with gentle resistance and sit securely at the base of your finger without pinching. If a ring is adjustable, open or close it gently and avoid repeated bending.
Measure a ring you own
- Choose a ring that fits the same finger comfortably.
- Measure straight across the inside of the ring at its widest point.
- Compare the inside diameter with the size shown on the product page.
Measure your finger
- Wrap paper, thread or a soft tape around the base of your finger.
- Mark where the ends meet, keeping it snug rather than tight.
- Measure the length in millimetres to find your finger circumference.
Ring fit notes
- If you are between sizes, choose the larger size for comfort.
- Wider bands often feel firmer, so sizing up can be more comfortable.
- Your dominant hand may be slightly larger, so measure the exact finger you plan to wear the ring on.
Bracelets
Bracelets should sit comfortably around the wrist without digging in. Measure around your wrist bone, then add the amount below depending on how you like the fit.
| Fit | Add to wrist measurement | What it feels like |
|---|---|---|
| Snug | + 1 cm | Close to the wrist with minimal movement. |
| Comfortable | + 1.5 cm | A little movement while still feeling secure. |
| Loose | + 2 cm | A relaxed drape with more movement. |
Anklets
Anklets should feel light and easy around the ankle. Measure around the part of your ankle where you want the anklet to sit, then choose your preferred fit.
| Fit | Add to ankle measurement | What it feels like |
|---|---|---|
| Close | + 1 cm | Sits neatly with little extra movement. |
| Comfortable | + 1.5 to 2 cm | Easy everyday fit with gentle movement. |
| Loose | + 2 to 3 cm | A softer drape that moves more freely. |
Necklaces
Necklace length changes where the piece sits on the body. Use a soft tape, ribbon or existing necklace to test the length against your neckline and outfit.
Close fit
Usually around 35-40 cm. Sits high on the neck or at the base of the neck, depending on your neck measurement.
Collarbone fit
Usually around 40-45 cm. Falls at or just below the collarbone for most people, making it a versatile everyday length.
Longer fit
Usually around 50 cm and above. Sits lower on the chest and gives a more relaxed look.
A final fitting tip
If you are choosing a gift and are unsure, adjustable pieces are usually the easiest option. For exact chain lengths, extension chains and adjustable ranges, always check the product page before adding to bag.
